Job description: As a Lead Service Technician, you will need a strong understanding of automotive mechanical and electrical theory. In addition to your knowledge and experience, you will have access to modern technology and equipment to confidently scan, diagnose, and repair any problem for any type of vehicle. Our shop is state-of-the-art, clean, BG Certified, and set up to provide high-quality repair at high volumes. Every day is a new day at MidTown, but our team is fun, hard-working, honest, and eager about giving our customers the best experience in town.
This is a fast-paced position with more billable work to complete than we have time for. If you’re looking for a lax job where you’re not challenged and not rewarded for hard work, this is not the shop for you. Our Lead Service Technician will commit to the team, stay focused, and complete quality work during the 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities – Are you ready to lead by example?
• Diagnose problems and provide recommendations based on your understanding of automotive mechanical and electrical theory.
• Confidently provide service and repair service for a variety of problems and vehicle types (cars and light/medium duty trucks).
• Complete digital vehicle inspections in a thorough and professional manner.
• Be a team player and leader by showing your dedication, motivation, and focus on providing the best services for our valued customers.
• Use your experience to make suggestions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications – Do you have what we need?
• 7+ years of automotive experience in diagnostics, and customer service
• Active ASE Master and L1 Certification (or ability to complete within 12 months)
• Willingness to work hard and keep learning
• Access to reliable transportation
• A team player mentality
• The desire to provide the best customer service

• Monday – Friday
• 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• $75-100k annual salary
